Dante Alighieri, the greatest poet of all time, not only wrote the best masterpiece of literature, but also fathered the Italian language. Dante, as he is warmly known, was exiled from his native city of Florence in Italy for fighting the Pope to separate the Church from government.
Today, the free world enjoys a democratic system that Dante fought for by putting his own life on the line by being condemned to be burnt alive.Dante wrote, in exile, Inferno in 1308 and later Purgatorio and Paradiso, to complete the greatest poem ever written and originally titled "Commedia", which was translated into English as The Divine Comedy in more than 120 versions.
We are proud to re-introduce Dante to the world in several forms which will be presented at a major venue in Los Angeles or Las Vegas in January of 2008.
